Gerry called us after coming accross one of our adverts in a local publication. They had been thinking about getting their kitchen units painted as they wanted a change of colour and for them to be freshened up. They have a lovely hand built kitchen that has been there for a while and needed some TLC.

"Our kitchen was needing a makeover, but our cupboards are of good quality and did not need replacing. I contacted the company, a local business, having seen their advertisement in Saddleworth Monthly, to learn more about in-situ makeovers. They responded to my enquiry very quickly and we arranged a home visit within a few days."

Gerry and Ian were happy to go ahead having recieved our quotation and the following works were carried out:

• Sand, prep and spray paint all existing kitchen doors, draw fronts, pelmets and facias.
• Paint window sills, walls and ceilings in the kitchen/dining room.

Rosie contacted us after searching for a company that could offer to spray paint their kitchen doors and door fronts. Thier kitchen wasn't that old but had started to show signs of general wear and tear and they wanted to give it a new lease of life.

At our initial meeting to discuss Rosie and Steve's requirements it became apparant that they were looking to get the kitchen and dining room decorated at the same time. When we mentioned that this was something we also did they were very happy for us to include this in our quotation. This saved them from having to deal with multiple trades people.

As well as the decorating works they also wanted the dining room ceiling to be repaired and re-boarded due to some previous water damage caused by a leek from the bathroom above. 

Following our initial meeting we prepared a fully itemised quotation which included a number of options for upgrading thier lighting and kitchen splashback.

Having been pleasantly suprised by our quotation Rosie and Steve decided to enlist our services to carry out the following:

• Prep and spray paint all existing kitchen doors, draw fronts, pelmets, kickboards and facias.
• Build new custom spice rack to fill gap between wall unit and end wall.
• Repair and reconstruct towl hanging area to the right of the integrated dishwasher.
• Install new LED ceiling downlights to replace existing pendent light.
• Replace existing under cabinet lights with new LED strip lights.
• Remove existing glass splashback and replace with new stainless steel one.
• Remove existing damaged section of dining room ceiling and replace with new.
• Plaster skim dining room ceiling and dining room wall.
• Replace all existing skirting boards in kitchen and dining room with new ones
• Remove dining room door and install new door frame to allow it to open in oposite direction.
• Paint all woodwork, doors, walls and ceilings in kitchen and dining room.

David had been considering freshening up his kitchen for a while but didn't want to rip everything out and replace it. When he came across our advert in the saddleworth monthly magazine he was pleased to see that we worked with our customers to keep as much of the original kitchen as possible, saving our customers money whilst reducing the environmental impact of sending perfectly good kitchen cupboards to landfill.

After receiving a call from David we arranged a suitable time to call round to see David and his wife Beverly at their lovely traditional weavers cottage in Springhead to discuss their ideas for the kitchen.

" Not wanting to take on a full kitchen re-design and build, we got on to Inspire Kitchen Makeovers. Their response was instantaneous and helpful, starting with a meeting to determine what was possible touching on every aspect of redecoration - including re-tiling and newly painted ceiling, walls, cabinet doors and drawers. Keeping our original cabinets and doors was no problem and would obviously save us a lot of money. We were able to add a new hob and electric oven of our choice with Inspire checking our selections for compatibility and suitability."

David and Beverly wanted to keep the same colour scheme but freshen it up. They asked us to remove, repair and spray paint all of the cupboard doors and draw fronts, replace the existing door and draw handles with new more contemporary ones and replace all the door hinges with new soft close ones.

We also repaired, sanded and spray painted the existing kitchen cupboards giving them a new lease of life.

The existing standalone cooker was replaced with a new integrated electric oven and gas hob which they chose with our help.

We removed the existing tiling to repair an ongoing damp issue, re-built the effected area and re-tiled the wall.

We then decorated the room including sanding and spray painting the existing timber wall cladding and kitchen chairs to match.
